Has someone been looking at SD1s?

A mate has a Vitesse that I'm yet to see, as it's in Cardiff and has been off the road for years. From what I've seen in pics, I'm sure it'll be proper pimp style.

Just happened upon it by chance I had one years ago when they were everywhere & cheap as chips, A 3500 SE, full of silly electrical glitches but never left me stranded, always got me home

It's old, British and was a luxury car back in the day. Some Brits love Rovers and this was the last proper one that wasn't a rebadged Honda. It was also in the Professionals, amongst other TV shows, used by the Police and many of us grew up with them in the family or owned by friends or family. I used to go to school in a 2600 when I was 10/11.

My Uncle had an 827 Vitesse for many years, so I have fond memories of those too

Basically, it's the same as an old car, people love it for nostalgia reasons more than for anything rational.

The SD1 has quite a following in the uk and was a fast car back in its day.

This one is rare as it was constructed with no sunroof.

Also worth checking out Tony doing the first 100mph lap of the IoM TT course in an 827 Vitesse back in the early 90s. Awesome.
