Misfire- possible causes?

are the spark plugs in tight?....coilpacks on tight??....

Im going to double check the plugs, tonight I hope, but they should be as they were only put in two weeks ago. The coil packs in tight??? Bolted in to the cover (2 of them have only 3 bolts instead of the 4) and then the cover is bolted down tight yes.

sorry I thought you were using the 1.8T versions, my bad...

I found my plugs came loose after a couple of weeks in the new engine as the head had been cold for such a long time and the sudden rush of heat it started to move a fraction.....

Ahh cheers, I will check the plugs... Makes sense they would cause a misfire. I cant wait for the conversion either as it will make me so much calmer about dealing with a misfire due to coils knowing the expense will not be so great.
