THe problem is not that crack but the hole where the tail fo the barrel goes (in the centre).

Results of yesterday's testing:
Ignition wire is fine.
Starts fine if it's own ignition wire is on, own high-amp positive, but with a jumper to negative.
Did a few more checks on earthing points and found that the potential difference between positive and earth was changing...
So basically, looks like something is shorting out elsewhere on the car. That could probably be anywhere and I don't have the time to chase it, so I've booked it into the stealers.

Can be fixed. It not right for an S2 to be on stealers . IS way too complicated for them . IF you want help I can came to Leeds and fix it .Audi S4 2.2T 5 spd 1992 for parts
