Ended up selling it in parts as i didn't use it nearly enough and also could never get back what i paid selling complete. A bit like what has happened to S2s.

We did a custom build for a customer recently, final bill was just short of £15k! Electric gears, ceramic bearings etc etc. Roadies bikes are just daft, too fragile for me.

My old Intense, looks so old school now

    Current toy, DMR Rhythm

Chop up your carbon bikes and make strut braces out of them!

Trust me I will have alloy next time. Carbon is strong in the right direction. I went cycling in Wales recently and some numb nut drove into me in Welshpool. He hit mt square on the leg and impacted on the rear stays. Again I was there checking for cracks in the lacquer. Too much of a worry for me. Having said that it is showing no sign of fatigue. Looks great and is certainly a very stiff and light frame.

I know its been proved carbon is stronger and most top end frames are carbon these days, but i just can't see myself spending so much extra over aluminium. Love the old Intense frames, can find good used ones for not too much these days.

I know the feeling I sold my big hit as I decided I wanted to go back to cross country. That's code for I don't have the bottle for the big hit!

I'm a keen cyclist. Well I was before kids. But for what it's worth I bought a carbon fibre felt 2 years ago. It's. Great looking bike and superb all day riding however when I stack it my first though is shattered carbon. Next time I'll stick with alloy.
    Nice intense by the way!
