Some proper retro metal in this thread now.

The switch infinity linkage on the Yeti is weird.

I refreshed my DMR for summer, new brakes, pedals, bars and some maintenance

I'd forgotten all about this thread.

Blew the budget in 2015 on this, dream bike for me, a bit like my RS2, don't think I'll ever top it

Hoping to take the old Pug to Italy soon but I need a lower gear ratio me thinks.

Cheers, hope to replace the bar tape and hoods soon.
A few times i've found myself nearly at a standstill on some hills with those ratios. You'll want some lower gears in Italy for sure

The San Marco Rolls is new John. Got it from Wiggle.co.uk wasn't much dearer than the used ones kicking around when i was looking.

    Bar tape is this stuff

Brake hoods came with the Dura Ace levers. Keep an eye on ebay they do crop up now and again.

Can't find any pics, but I bought a Kona Explosif new in about 1995 ish ... almost had to sell a kidney to supplement my income to buy it in those days... still have it, much upgraded, Judy Race forks and a few other bits... XT or XTR in most places... must get it down from my parents loft...

Was pretty good back in the day...
