    Laptop or Tablet?

I am in the market for a new laptop.... Everyone is pushing these tablets as being the replacement for a laptop

Anyone on here who can help me choose- from the following:
    1. Sony Vaio Duo 11
    2. Asus transformer
    3. Microsoft Surface

I prefer the android systems to any Apple system. Mainly for my business whilst traveling.

    Cheers

Depends exactly on what you want to use it for, if it's internet browsing and the odd bit of angry birds then the tablet. If you want to do much else then go for a laptop.

I use a tablet for work it's quite nice not having to carry a big laptop . The tablet I have from work is a levono think pad tablet, it is a android type seems to be doing the job quit well,I am a forklift engineer so the job sheets, parts requests etc is all done on the tablet, our service manuals are all on it and the customer signs for jobs on it ,I can even plug it into the fleet management systems we fit and see what data is being sent and received through a serial cable plugged into the USB port it has . It also has a mini hdmi port . As for weather it is better than a laptop not sure for what I do for work yes it is the only down side not every body's diagnostic software works with android .

            Not sure how much ££.
Seen some laptops on-line where you can disconnect the screen completely
and use it as a tablet. Dont know if any good tho.

After 2 hours in a Sony Store I played with the Duo system- functional software but, sadly too small a keyboard. Limited storage space (125 GB) and a hefty price tag I settled for the Sony Vaio Ultrabook T13 model with 8GB RAM and 500 GB storage!
I had read up on a few forums where the reviews of the Microsoft Surface were not great- "wait for the 2nd generation" was the bottom line.
Asus transformer suffers from limited storage capacity, whilst still demanding a fairly high price for its uses.
I will definitely look at getting a tablet next year- hopefully there will be more to chose from with better storage.
Right now I am over the moon with the Sony Vaio Ultrabook!
Thanks for all the comments- who says that petrol heads aren't tec savy people?!
