Sold - Goodbye and thank you all.

I've read a few of these just recently...and now it's my turn.

The S2 is sold and so I'm signing off - after six and a half years ownership of the best car I've ever had.

Thank you ALL - everyone who over that time guided this amateur owner through a dodgy hall sensor, cleaning out the hoses, upgrading brakes, working out blink codes, choosing tyres, remapping, etc etc

You shared every pleasure and every hiccup. Thanks.

My best bit - the STEALTH FACTOR ... knowing BMW 330 owners and hot hatch posers have NO IDEA what an S2 can do...no idea at all... he he he.

    Good luck all

    Phil

    That's a shame...

...still the bug never leaves you and you know you'll be back for more

    All the best

Says it all for me. The S2 has everything without the bling and vulgarity of Jap stuff and the arrogance of the 33* > M3'ness of BMW drivers.

I've not had an S2 now for 3 years due to having a million kids, but plan to in a few years when the crippling nursery fees stop.

Will there be any decent ones left?

Best part about it, subtle looks, no loud obnoxious noises when cruising, still comfortable even on coilovers.

That's why I didn't wait on getting my own, even though being so young, I did not want to miss out
