how many shades of black? Best colour?

how many shades of black were available on B4`s?

that black B4 Saloon i had, lets say had an array of pannel colours

only looked odd from certain angles, like brown wing in the sun etc

just poor paint or with pannels seemingly from different cars just bad luck?

or was there several paint codes for metalic black??

what looks the best?

what shade would you be painting it if it was your car, late Audi black or origional?

Mine's about 50 shades of white

If you're going for a new colour then you could always stick with the stock paint code and then add something a little special into the lacquer. Seen this done with a little copper flake and it looked really nice and subtle. Could use any colour flake you liked...

All my paint code says is 9Z due to the first 2 digits being scrubbed off

its metalic black, albeit many many shades of metalic black lol

will we guess at Panther black?

Min is LZ9U Vulcan schwartz metallic looks almost charcoal grey.

i think thats what the 2 drivers doors are on mine to be honest, and the front wing looks almost brown!

thing needs a full shoot really, its all sorts of colours in the sun, must be the metal in the light making it change
