    Watches

Any of you guy's into watches and could suggest some good brands to look at. I am looking for something special to get later in the year but not sure of any decent makes to choose from, rolex had been suggested but I really am not keen on them (and the logo tbh)

Had a look at breitlings and saw this one which was quite nice

Anyone else got any suggestions. I've got a tag heuer already and a citizen ecodrive which both have been good to me for the time i've had them and won't be getting rid of them anytime soon.

Depends on your budget. I have just had a Skagen titanium watch with a carbon dial/face its very nice and very light.

Just sold an Omega Seamaster Chrono ( very overrated, overpriced and heavy ) and bought a Davosa Argonautic for Christmas. Very pleased with it and the service provided by Watchshop. Use a Seiko Sports 150 quartz and 200 Kinetic for " everyday" use....

Always wanted a Rolex, but IMHO my comments about the Omega also apply.....enjoy your search!

Yep, I no longer wear a watch as I always have a way of telling the time, when I'm in bed I have the alarm clock, when I'm driving to work I have the clock on the dash, when in work I have the clock on the computer and any other time I have the phone. That and I dont like the way modern watches have gone with the massive faces.

Not much help to you choosing a watch tho.

I have a Tissot which I can't fault, it doesn't lose a minute from one year to the next and everything about it has a good quality. I expect, however, that it will be viewed with the likes of something available from the Elizabeth Duke section of Argos when compared to some of the watches mentioned already.

Saying that, I only wear a watch when I wear a suit, which is usually rarely and currently never. I use my phone for timekeeping now. I'd wear a watch more often, it's just that the risk of damaging it or looking pretentious has been too great for me in recent years.
