Its not getting finished. Not by me anyways. I have other prioritys in life now unfortunately so it will either go whole to one of the people that have enquired about it or i'll remove the rs2 bits and wheels and sell the rest off as a rolling project.

And you've not seen my mobile phone, it just about works but it can take a hell of a beating which is the main thing. I want this for an investment towards the future.

Oris are good, as are the Tag Carrera models but you are talking anywhere between £2000 and £4000 for a nice one, but its pretty traditional in its styling. If you fancy something a little more adventurous, then something like a Bell & Ross is rare, understated and very, very cool.

If you have mega money, something like this would be lovely (6 numbers on the lotto PLEASE...)

If your budget is more modest, but you still want special, then something like a TW steel, Tissot or an Invicta Reserve might be the way forward as they fall in the Sub-£500 bracket...

In the main indoor shopping centre in Vegas (the circular one - cant remember its name) you can get some good deals, and if you know how, get a refund on the sales tax.

        Hi,

Its a nice problem to have, choosing a watch...

I am also looking too and considering a Perrelet Turbine Auto, quite chunky but very cool and lots of colour choices, have a look at youtube to get the full story, the turbine blades on the front spin !

I have a Maurice Lacroix - Reviel Globe which is also a bit chunky but is very nice with 3 timezones and an alarm, from an automatic movement ! Great for travelling !

If it does not have to be new then I can reccomend the Porsche Design IWC Mecaquartz , this is a beauty and rare, mine is in for a service at the moment.

A bit more expensive would be the Rolex Day Date in white metal, very classy but dont get diamonds

For discrete style you could go for the Patek, again in white metal

For silly money you could have the Omega Turbillon......

Its a very personal thing, buying a watch and its not just about telling the time, your phone is probably more accurate, even than the most expensive mechanical watch.... Its about making a style statement to people who appreciate these miniature machines !

        Enjoy !

          Thanks for the replys everyone.

Lee - some really nice watches there and some food for thought. I have got a while yet before I buy and that place you mention in vegas, I think I was wandering around there about a month ago I went into the tag heuer shop to have a look around. I might have another look this year in vegas.

Its amazing some of the watches you can get. The amount of work thats gone into this one is unreal but then again its $135000, and has a dial to let you know when it needs an oil change and turbines on the back of it lol.

agree, but when huge money is concerned, a lot of rich people dont have any taste. I know that if I had that much money where I was considering a watch that expensive, I wouldnt buy it from a shi77y site and I wouldnt care about the discount...

graham of london do some very nice watches similar in price to breilling but you`ll probably need wrists like Arnie! for them both as they`re huge watches about 46mm
