Good fun in these conditions, we even have snow in Bournemouth...

Just remember the quattro is good for traction, but when it comes to braking you still have to be careful!

Something I found out about 15 years ago in my 10v UR I used to own!!!

Hahaha Ian, that will be me in the van in a few hours time... My T4 with RS6 18" copies is probably gonna be rubbish but the S2 is still not fixed from its misfire... Kinda glad as at least the numpties wont be crashing into it!

I found a parcel force sprinter van stuck on the hill i live on, he tried for 20mins and then i fetched the S2 and offerd to tow him up.

"that thing wont pull this up there mate" he said. I ignored this as he didnt know what he was looking at and continued to attatch rope.

I bet i towed him up there faster than he planned to drive up there haha. "audi quattro yeh?" he said...

Managed to get the trailer back to storage; wasn't too bad once I got to the main road.

                  Dumping it down now, though.

I've done the neighbourly thing and parked down in the pub car park (steep ramp down), so everyone else can use the street. I think I'm the only one that's sure of getting back out again.

We don't have snow in Malta, but we have "ice" and hail

Kept the S2 garaged, don't want a bunch of dents on it

Our roads have been paved with 50.000.000kg's of salt already, 1/4th of this years stockpile.... and that's just for 5 days of snow.
Still it is quite hazardous in lots of areas since we have what they call ZOAB, low density tarmac which will fill with snow becoming solid ice sheets.
Even though our country lacks any kind of elevation people still find countless opportunities to crash into stationairy objects since latest survey show 33% of drivers are running on worn out low profile tires to save (yes, Dutchies) on maintenance costs. I had to evade twice today waiting at the lights to avoid getting rear ended by lease boys mis judgeing the road conditions...

No snow in Dublin, just wind and rain.

I'm very jealous of everyone who has snow. I'd love the chance to stick the winter wheels on the Audi and take it out for a drive. Have fun guys!

taxed my 90q online at 8 pm last night lol by 10o'clock i was getting towed by my mates very capable celica gt4 back to the garage where i did a quick fault finding excercise and realised there was no spark.. oil filter off and crank position sensor changed(1.8t) and all back together and it was boost time yoko prada spec 2s arent the best tyre for snow but i was never unable to get out of were i was stuck lol up to a foot of snow in some places!
coming home from the inlaws in the wifes zafira gsi wasnt too bad.. for us lol there was a double decker bus and a bmw 3 series sitting at the top of a hill with a roundabout on it just wheelspinning, so the next double decker must have thought he'd be clever and drive around the wrong side of an island onto the wrong side of the road and simply drive past... FAIL lol he was sat there spinning too, making us have to squeeze down the side..

For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2
