Just found an 80 tdi breaking for spares.

This may have been asked a hundred times before just wondering whats
bolt on to the S2?.

Im guessing electrical stuff are the same (wipers, elec. windows, heater, etc). What
about body panels? Think i read here that we need the "cabrio" front wings and bonnet
and that standard 80's are different.. (not 100%). Im guessing the majority of parts are a straight swop. (apart from engine, drivetrain and brakes, etc)

But for a couple of hundred quid it should be worth stripping what i want and scrapping the rest?

When I fixed the wife's cabby I used the bonnet off my old 80 tdi so I'm not sure this is 100% right.

Bonnet is the same, wings are different, look at the strips off an 80 compared to the coupe.
