CV Help for 5 stud conversion please

another thorn in my side to overcome,

seems like S2 shafts dont bolt to my g/box and my 2.5TDi box has now gone so cant rob them!

is there any sites that can help with CV`s?

i.e i need 38 outer teeth and 30 inner teeth

should be able to get my wheels on when i find new CV`s

so much for having it done by the weekend

Swap the outer cv's from the shafts you've got onto your current shafts?

So they don't bolt to your gear box but you are looking for a outer CV? Have I missed something?

S2 inner drive flange does not bolt onto my peasant spec Quattro, check
my peasant spec Quattro CV`s dont have the correct teeth to mate to the S2 front hubs, check

so, i need CV joints with 30 inner teeth to match the peasant spec driveshaft and 38 outer teeth to match the S2 hub

Sounds like you need a 7a box to go on yours or a tdi quattro box.

i think from memory it might be one of the V6 FWD (2.8?!) variety that may be needed

by the time id worked this out all my suppliers had stopped answering the phone sadly

DJH, ironic i just i got the car and i let my Quattro TDi box go as part of the deal lol

my TDi front shafts have the outer CV fittings in the hub or id have robbed them

what output flanges are on your gearbox, solid round or star style one's so to speak

i have Lobro (round) inner Joints with 30 teeth on the driveshaft to CV end

Make sure you measure the O.D of the joint as well

will pick both Peasant and S2 CV`s up before i leave for a centre tomorow

if it helps, when i put rs2 hubs on my b4 16v quattro i used the original 16v shafts with 90 20v (7a) outers front and back, then needed 2 more for the other side lol so used v6 fwd outers...
