its gonna be a case of landing at Euros in the morning and grabbing their CV books and measuring both CV`s and shafts i have

i think the 7A and V6 may well be the same things..... hopefuly! (and cheap!)

cold bre the same, but only of quattro cars, fwd cars have different axles.

ordered some front CV`s today in the 30/38 format

picked them up just before and they are 27inner 38 outer teeth

so not impressed you wouldnt belive

will be there at 8.30 when they open for a fight

i could always just weld the centre diff up, this would cure all my problems.........................

Or be done with it and buy an RS4

i gave those numbers from another post mate, think they just ballsed up.

check the par tnumbers on them, if it is their fault, they have to take them back. they were 100€ a piece when i bought them

Skull, the 2 VAG numbers, one is C one is D is that front and rear?

dont want any mistakes this time!

and they have no choice taking the wrong cv back, it was not what i asked for

the front and rear cv joints are all the same, you can use front cv joint boots on the rear too. i remember investigating the two VAG part numbers differences, and it was just a cosmetic difference.

before fitting them, paint them! mine are so rusty now, it hurts

i will be painting the struts, hubs and wishbones also efter its been dummy fitted

2 new top mounts to go on while im there also

Right, got a pair of CV joints, although not matching any of the numbers above?!

front end back together, its TIGHT! lol

car needs lowered but will use it over the weekend to let it settle before i chop the springs
