Anybody else wondering why they said they were in Hertfordshire for the Ferrari film on tonights show?

i did wonder when he said 40 miles from london , then i saw the roads and though I MUST DRIVE THERE !, obviously he was talking about the town as i heard him mention letchworth?

i'll have a look at last nights episode and see. I was in letchworth on wends/thurs and used to live around 5 mins from there. The town's been featured on top gear before but tbh is starting to die out with a lot of the shops etc shutting down.

It was also in a couple of movies (zombie diaries i think was one) and the new simon pegg film at worlds end (or something along those lines)

The Transit Van hovercraft

What a ****-up. What are they trying to do, get banned/forced redundancy/linched? If I was one of the persons blown off their afternoon tea tables and/or drenched or almost drowned by that "hovercraft", I would be suing the BBC and demanding that the TG boys be sacked, Jeremy twice.

All that was bad enough and JC has to try to go back *UP* a weir, causing the engine(s) to blow-up. Sad. Very sad.

It's Television, it ain't real. I'm sure all those extras got a few quid for a mornings work. The whole show is just painful to watch, i'm sure somebody thought it sounded hilarious when they were pitching ideas, but its pathetic in reality. And i find it hard to believe those three guys actually want to film crap like that.

Yeah pretty sure they were all part of a setup. The cafe they were eating at didn't look very real to me, if it was real I'm sure we'd be hearing about the lawsuits. They obviously knew the hovercraft mk1 was going to sink hence the wet suits etc. I've no problem with tongue in cheek but they are taking it to extremes.

The challenges could definitely be more challenging and entertaining this series...
