Stopped off at the shops tonight on the way home from work, came out from the shop and some geezers walking up and down looking at my car !
Straight away I'm suspicious (I'm like that after someone had a nibble recently )

"f**k me mate he goes, your quattro looks wicked" ! (well it was dark and I do have paint issues)

Its little comments like these that keep me going when I'm almost ready to throw in the towel and get rid of the old thing

Recently went to give my car a wash at the petrol station, a guy who worked there came up and started asking me about the car. He ended up doing the washing for me

Iv had a guy come up to me as I parked up to tell me my 90 was cool and his dad used to have one. It makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I was at the gas station filling up my 80 when random guys pulled over and said my car looks great and has lovely color. Asked if I painted it (I hear this question very often ). It's awesome feeling when someone you don't even know appreciates work you've done on your car.

it happened me many times ,in fuel stations,car parks and..the more special...with the Police when sometimes stopped me , things like "wow, is it a new sport model?" amazes me or others like " that car is very well cared,look those wheels and brakes"

or others " is it the very known audi quattro?" "why it sounds like this?" and my answer is because it is a very special edition with the Audi S1 Rally car. 5 pot 20VT engine, and they were impressed


anyway the most of normal people hates squared wrecks like those.... my girlfriend included
