    Thanks.

Yep, H1 is what you need, with a colour temperature of around 5000.

Yes the ABY takes H1 for dipped and main beam. I use 6000K but others prefer different. I got my latest ones from http://www.novablue.co.uk/ but there are loads of retailers HTH

whats the crack with these and legislation right now? is it that you have to have self levelling lights/washers etc now? I am so fed up with ******s driving around blinding me as they have fitted them to lights that they shouldnt etc.
I would love a set of these, anyone have a link to a good quality (cheap-ish) set up you can buy complete?

                cheers

I beleive so, my mate got pulled and was told to remove the HIDs and bring a signed sheet saying they had been removed from a garage to the police station. Apparently you can be fined, but he was just told the sort it.

He was told retrofit HIDs are illegal, they need to have headlight washers and self levellers.

I used the smaller ballast and placed them inside the headlight on my last S2 - Also changed the side light bulbs to xenon.

All (Well 99%) of the kits come from China and are available on ebay, sticking with 5000K and 6000K look alright and work well.
