my window fitter did it but its not too hard

- remove every trim on the inside
-remove the riveted window trims
-from the inside use a long sharp stanley between the glass and car
- use cheese wire to cut remaining mastic

2 person job to ensure window doesnt fall out

Make sure you do it as a base coay and clear lacquer that way iy wont fade with age like the original solid colour
