Cool, did you convert them the same as Jas11n?

Is the main beam better? I am happy with dip from ellipsiods with HID, but want more light from main.

Agree with all the above. What bulbs are you using in the headlamps?

I am just using high output standard bulbs in the main beam, they are not great like most old cars but still a better light than an old set of ellipsoids.

I guess you could fit a second set of HiD's in the main beam for a real good display of light.....

I considered this myself (I have HID dip, and switching to main beam hardly makes any difference, if anything- it gives the impression of LESS light, cos of the relatively 'orange' glow of the 55w halogens in comparison), but decided against, cos of the amount of time the HID's take to give full output. Main Beam Flash would also be a thing of the past, which means I wouldn't be able to give the Twa*s who drive around with front fog's on when it's not foggy a facefull of main beam

Try these in your main beam

I have 55w 4300K HID's in my dipped and these in the mains, they are not quite a white as the HID's but they do make a difference when on. Get your lights lined up correctly too, this will make a difference

Looking very nice indeed, that RS2 front end and mirrors really suit and the Bolero's finish it off nicely....

Is that for a pair of them?
I always assumed these were the things that the morons in the Saxo's/Corsa's etc fit, cos they don't understand/can't afford HID's.
Might give them a try as they come recommended.
I thought of going for 100, or even 160w main beam (Relayed, obviously!!), but IMO they don't last long.
