This is my car's launch in 2011, half a tank of fuel, toolbox and all the extra weight I was allowed to carry Idea was to keep the car as close to the real world setup as possible.
Using Prj launch control at 5500rpm, roughly 0.7bar of boost when launching. Here.
Just experimenting with this at the minute, the last thing i want to do is break something after all the hard work and money spent so think I'll quite happily loose a second on take off and enjoy the car for longer
in the dry, hold the revs at about 4500, bring the clutch up quickly but don't sidestep it. As you bring the clutch up, floor the accelerator. You're aiming for a chirp from the tyres rather than wheel spin or it bogging down. In the wet, go mental and get it sideways
Or get prj to add launch control to your ECU and then it's a bit easier, as you hold your foot flat on the rev limiter (lowered when stationary) then clutch up and off you go.
Manually, in cold weather, I managed 4.7 0-60 and with the launch in hotter weather I matched that. Both measured with a 5Hz GPS logger.

Fastest for me on tarmac is 4-5K, up with the clutch quite hard and floor it, but still allow some slip to prevent bogging, then when up to about 15-20 foot right off the clutch as then in the power band (4K+)
This is on a 7A, which driving I liken to driving a turbocharged car without the turbo due to it's torque curve.
