    Insurance Question

    Help Guys !

Can anyone recommend an insurance company. I want to insure my RHD RS2 but because I am working overseas for a few years it is suddenly a problem ! The car is parked at my house while I am away and my wife is there every day, surely it should be a lower risk, I will probably only do about 1,000 miles tops ! I have a full NCD and clean liscence !! How stupid ?

I will be back in UK next week so need to sort it out sharp !

    Appreciat your replies..

Could the RS2 be insured in the name of your wife?

Im just getting mine sorted for the year at the moment. I have tried a few normally try Adrian Flux, Chris Knott, A-Plan amongst others. So far A-Plan are coming up trumps with a decent policy that covers modifications like for like less wear and tear. Try getting in touch with their thatcham branch which is the specialist one

Good advice, mine will be due come July and I want a proper agreed value on it this time. I doubt the online policy I got would be that good if a write off or theft occurred. I will try A Plan in a coupla months, thanks Greg

Your welcome. I don't bother with half of the companies now as most of them wont quote you when they hear about the level of modifications.

Yep, with bigger turbo, exhaust, manifolds, IC, chipset, wheels and brakes it is easier to tell them what is still standard rather than what isn't ha ha.
