They had the same off a couple of weeks ago and I bought one then, I also managed to find a discount code for 10% off and used my trade card to get another £1 off, tools ended up costing me about £65

Halfords tools are crap now. They're nothing like the quality they used to be. They changed manufacturer and re-branded them "Advanced" instead of "Proffesional" about 3 years ago.

If you're looking for cheap good quality tools, the Britool "hallmark" series is very good (more or less identical to old Halfords proffesional). You can find bluepoint sets quite cheaply now which are very good quality too. Stear clear of halfords stuff now though.

I agree, the Pro range used to be good, and the 150p set had a good selection. Now that its branded Advanced, they also changed some sizes on the sockets making this set no way near as useful as the Pro one, still a bargain at the offer price though.
