    Dry sump advice

Hey guys I'm finally getting parts together for my S2 that I have been building for a while now ( been too busy working my magic on classics to do mine) and was wondering which types of dry sump setup's people have tried, any help/info would be awsum.

    Cheers Herm

Do a search there are a few projects on the forum to have a look at. Not really any off the shelf kits but the bits are out there to do it.

Have a look at Jeffer, Terrybullwon & G60Rallye's projects, they have built dry sumps. IIRC Jeffer may be able to supply some copies of his parts to get you started. Prospeed also sell some parts like the front pump blanking plate and the oil pan.

You nee to work out if you really need a dry sump, if you can get away
with using an Accusump you will save thousands.

The prospeed desgin is the best solution I have seen as it gives proper guarding to the belt. It just depends how deep your wallet is as to which way you go.

Umm, 3500 euro is without VAT. It's 4300 euro.
Dahlback and cheap never go into the same sentence without a 'not'.
(But their parts are absolute p0rn though...)

if you can find some one with an vat number (that shoudnt be a problem) it is 3500 euro's i think it is reasonable priced.

                    parts looks very good
i like the style of the front plate attached to the sump

I would not recommend VHT to anyone.

Thanks for all your input guys, sorry I have been away working and not had time to be on here but lots of helpful advice as always! I made the decision to buy a pump and make my own kit (welder and fabrication/machinist is my trade) as soon as I have it all made up there will be the start of my build thread.
