Went on a tour of Lotus F1 today

Went on a tour of Lotus F1 today, thought I'd share the pics. Some amazing engineering on show, most of which we weren't allowed to take pictures of.

They had all the old trophies from back when they were Renault including the championship winners from 2005/6 plus a few of the old cars:

The F1 base is near Enstone in Oxfordshire so not far from me at all. My girlfriends parents won the tour in a raffle and didn't want to go so passed the prize on to me!

You can't buy tours from what I've seen but there are a few other options that they told us about. Like "Race Day" where you spend the day of the race in their "bunker" (which has a massive cinema in it), this has a live link to the track and you observe the whole thing from the team's point of view, more info on their site:

There are a few other options under - Team - Experiences at the top on their site, including one that is just over £2k where you get a drive!
