How old is the forum? I remember being a member back when it was a Yahoo group, no idea what year that was though!

The forum will soon be 10 years old, this July or thereabouts. There was the S2 Yahoo Groups mailing list before then too.

Well, if you look at when both Paul Nugent and David/S2driveruk, they both joined up in July 2003. Those guys amongst a few others are the progenitors of the forum.

Yahoo groups (S2central) was 2002 - still living, just logged in to check I seem to remember there was a few of those as we maxxed out them and had to create new ones each time

Can't find "last visit" filter in user search. Sort order isn't the right one.

I've just checked with Chris and he thinks it was around 2000/2001 when he had his first S2 coupe. I wish the forum had been around then, he'd have saved a fortune in garage bills

i bought mine in July 2000 and stumbled across Paul on s-cars.org I think in 2001 4 of us got together nr Maidenhead for what was to be the first meet - Jim (BluS2), Paul N and a guy who's name escapes me but his reg was H5 CYL which was cool

I spent a fortune with QST before enough people convinced me to start looking after it myself...never really looked back and saved a fortune. Just wish VAG Parts was still with us.....that was epic, great service, prices and service you could only dream of these days. Martin - we miss you mate.
