So because the last attempt sadly went nowhere, and there was a lot of interest, I decided to do it myself.
I managed to get some pristine condition posters.
They are currently being scanned at a local typography, and I am going to get samples today/tomorrow.
I will photograph and post up the samples as soon as I get them. Initially I'm going to get a run of 50 printed of each side, and it will be possible to just buy them. No advance payments of any kind.
What I am currently debating is whether I should get them laminated or not.
The paper I am going to get them printed on is not as shiny in appearance as the original paper, but it is also perhaps a little better quality (heavier).
The lamination will make it as shiny as the original one, and as a benefit the poster will be fully washable. Meaning you can hang it up in your garage and do not have to worry about wiping it with a wet cloth every now and then. Without lamination the paper will not be happy in a dirty or moist environment for a length of time.
The only downside of lamination is that the price will be somewhat higher - around 5 EUR or so per poster.
I am aiming right now to be able to do them for 30-35 EUR incl. hard tube packaging and shipping to europe.
Thoughts? Are you guys willing to pay let's say 35 EUR instead of 30 EUR for an indestructible (well almost) and weather proof poster?

Just giving people a choice. I'm sure you're not worried about the few pounds you'll make from any sales
