Help with Rear diff shims

    Help with Rear diff shims

    Been having some trouble with getting these.

    Part number 183 525 231 with lettering after size dependant.

    Audi tradition has them at 0.83Euro each but the shipping is 25 euros.

    Audi cant get them for me untill the 15th

    Any one got some bright idea's?

      Which bearing do they shim? I've got a load of shims but they are not that part number.

          Try (classic) motorbike shops, they use to have quite some in stock for shimming cranks & gears in boxes.

              Looks like the ones you want are for the pinion bearing, mine are for the output flange bearings.



              What size are the ones you want? These are 73x68mm and 78x64mm, any good??
