anybody know what the 20v sump wing was fitted for? some 7A motors never had them

It provides an oil return from the turbo with air con fitted cars. The return on the block is obstructed by the air con bracket and is blanked off.ABY S2 stroker (work in progress)

Parts system seems to support that, there is a sump unique to 7A/NM which was replaced with the ABY/ADU version with the wing. Also looks like the non AC version was dropped and replaced with the AC part and blanking plate.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home

Anybody know the part no for the sump wing gasket/O-ring? My branch of TPS were being mong's when I tried to order one and sent me something completely unrelated.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

Hmm, dunno actually I just guessed
The auto AAN doesn't have the extra capacity wing so thats was the basis for my assumption
