My hopes of ever getting close to owning an RS2 are a 1:18 scale model and a magazine as Transport authority in Malta wants 12k in registration for an RS2!

On top of that another 1,100 a year for road tax

I already pay 1,100 a year road tax on my S2, the registration is what puts me off getting an RS2

So how does your Government **** you over?

wonder do they class it as a Porsche over an Audi, 12k is a lot of mulaa for pieces of paper considering your probable faster than the police from the minute you get in the door of it

I'm already paying 1,100 road tax on an S2 and that's only because our new government lowered our road license from 1,500 euros that it was before!

I was tempted to just bring one down unregistered and as you said if they come after me, they ain't gonna catch an RS2

If you buy a very modern car here, say a Bentley, over the price you pay for the car abroad, you have to pay almost the same price in Registration tax, making the car cost you double

I pay 127€ a year of road tax... for the S2 and would be the same for Rs2 because we pay.for centimeter cubic

I'm paying also 127 for the focus 2008 tdci 115 HP

In UK there are very good temperatures for staying working.... in summer
