S2 safely through the MOT

Hi all,

Just put the S2 through its first MOT in my ownership. Sailed through with an advisory on rear worn tyres.

Very happy indeed. Tester came out to have a word to say how clean and immaculate the car was. Cue warm feeling and pride at owning Jeeves.

Still umming and ahhhing about tyres but noticed that Kwik Fit have 25% off all Goodyear tyres so might get 4 Goodyear Eagles for the price of 3. If not, will probably try the Zero Nero GT's. Was going to try Yoki AD08's but thinking about it a little more, makes sense to get a better all rounder really.

Anyhow, another year of fun on the cards now it is safely through the test. Just need some sun this weekend now. If it puts his hat on, I am happy to add some Super Unleaded to make the equation balance nicely

And a thumbs up for the Goodyears, fitted a set of Eagle F1 Assym 2s on my S2 and they are great! Very predictable in the corners, can slide it around with no real fuss or bother, very quiet as well. My falkens on the other set of rims scare the ***** out of me.

yeah put mine through last week and popped out with clean bill of health and zero advisories

Was funny the guy was asking if the mileage was genuine (showing 20k on a replacement clock) as it was in good nick - i informed him the other clock had 186k on it he was staggered lol
