Question if anyone here is in the car sales business.

I belive that if I wanted a new car / certain model in a particular colour / spec / trim
It is common practice to load that car onto a wagon or drive it to
your local dealer if it was available elsewhere.

So. Question..can/will they do this with second hand stuff?

Or is it not worthwhile doing due to profit margins, etc.

Emailed the local dealer, the guys selling it and the uk office but
No reply at all. Its still a £13k motor at the end of the day not a £1500 trader but
400 mile round trip!

Not going to happen?

I think some of the main dealers would entertain this, but would likely look for some commitment you would buy if all checked out
