Guys looking forward to next week heading to Germany firstly Trier for some shopping got to keep the Missus happy and then along the Mosel and up to the Ring for a few days and then down to Cochem and Koblenz am over for 8 days ish so wondering if anyone might be heading over end of next week?? ps Looking forward to some Deutsche Beer!!!

Ha Ha nee worries Martin am not taking the S2 unfortunately as its not bloody fit enough and ive just had it checked at Autobahn it needs calibers discs pads cv boot ball joint and 4 new tyres as inside totally fxxxxd and the starting issue I mention when we met up was just a blown fuse!!!

Well am back already I think I should never have gone I don't believe in fate but now starting to question it. First thing that went wrong the S2 wasn't ready in time second thing my new A4 the under trays fell off on the motorway quiet bit so managed to retain them now held on by cable ties good old Arnold Clark didn't put them on properly and third and most dramatic thing my Dad had a heart attack in the early hours of yesterday morning so away to see him now travelled home yesterday in one day from the Mosel 700 miles but no choice when your Dad takes ill so am having quite a holiday

You're right, it only seemed like yesterday when you said you were going. Wished it was me.

Feel for you, BTDT, but not with the last one. Life is stranger than fiction. And can cause plenty of A real roller coaster of highs and lows, especially with an I5.

Hope your Dad makes a good recovery, puts it all into perspective.

Thanks Guys means a lot. Been to see my Dad in hospital and his operation went very well yesterday and is in very good spirits and hopes to be home tomorrow!! Everyone in the heart bit of the Freeman hospital have been absolutely superb hes just annoyed as he cant drive for a month!! Bless him still cracking jokes and still supports Sunderland so still not a 100%!!!

Just a quick update Dads home and a million times better than this time last week!!! Went for Echo scan and ESG on Monday and no damage reported so back driving again today to his delight!! I think the speediness of the Emergency services was key and amazing which saved my dads life.... So happy
