MOT advisory for engine tray

Bit of a weird one this but has anybody else ever had an advisory for the car having the factory engine tray fitted? Found that a bit of a weird one myself!!

On the bright side, the Coupe only failed on the drivers side headlight reflector (have posted in Wanted section for a decent replacement if anyone has one going) and the power steering belt not being tight enough.

Engine Tray

I used to work on public service vehicles when we put them up for test if we left the undertray on we got an advisory because vehicle examiner could not check engine wiring that was on bus,s strange for a car mine passed in March no problem with tray fitted . examiner should have been challenged you can legally ask him where it states in the Tester, s Manual if undertray is fitted its an advisory. It's not an issue as it didn't fail on it, I just found it strange they would give an advisory......t's not as if I'd bolted an old wardrobe door to the bottom of it in a ramshackle way

Our S4 had an advisory due to the under trays too.
There have been all kind of odd ones being reported recently, JP's was great: "Car has been modified"
I wonder if its because on the new system they can type stuff in?

My van was advised on non standard wheels-like duh?i never noticed they weren't standard when I bought them!
