MOT Test

Anyone come across this in the MOT Testers manual under Electrical it states that cars presented for test must have a working mechanical or electronic immobliser any fallen fowl of this would be intereste to find out .The tester has to make sure it works if not it,s a fail

yes this is true - steering lock has to work

Although I've never heard of a steering lock stopping a car thief
