Jobs done on your car so far

So I've had my S2 for almost a year now and went through a list of stuff I've changed on the car, and other pointless stuff I've bought for it

It's been fun/stressful sorting out little bits and pieces on the car but ultimately getting it to the way I want it to be which is where it's at right now

    RS2 FARB + Brackets + LINKS + Superflex Bushes
Whiteline RARB + Brackets + Links + Bushes
    Radiator
    A/C Condensor
    A/C Compressor
    A/C Pipe
    Front CV boots
    Brake Bomb
    Fixed Window/Sunroof Relay
    Coil Packs
    Spark Plugs
Oil Change for engine, gearbox and diff
    Diff Seals
    Handbrake cables changed
    Fuel Filter change
    Clutch change
    A/C, PAS, Alternator Belts
    New Rims + Tyres
    RS2 gearknob
    Autostyle carpets
    New fog lamps
    Car Cover

I think I've been very sensible though for the most part, no big power upgrades yet

Umm well in my first year of ownership it got a service (Plugs, oil, filters, the norm). Second year it got a service some new pads and discs all round and tyres. Third year it got... a service and Baileys BOV and wastegate replaced. Fourth year.....

Full head rebuild with all vSOS, guides etc etc
ARP Head bolts and new gaskets
          Cambelt, pulleys, tensioner, waterpump
Complete clean and new valves and fire trap in the PCV system
All new gaskets and washers and copper buts, Jubilees etc (Looked shiny and good)
          Full service
New fuel lines the length of the car
          New rad and aux rad
          Samco waterhoses
Superb coil harness from Alex on here
          New set of coils
          H&R Springs
          Powerflow stainless exhaust

          Got to fit:
New drop links front and rear to hopefully make it nice and tight on the RS2 ARB's
A set of A8 sport wheels and spacers and wheel bolts
          New headlights
          New foglights
          Replacement turbo
Probably other things I have forgotten

And I also want to get the car painted in the new year...
And this all doesnt include the fact i had to rebuild the front after I crashed it a few years ago meaning I had to get a new bumper (was minimal damage on the front but I wanted it lookign minto!

First few years I thought it was a cheap car to keep on the road.... last year I was proved oh so wrong and its still haunting me. I dread any work I need to do on it as it always costs a fortune. I have another set of tyres to buy for the original 3b alloys that the car came on that I had diamond cut, polished and laquered yet too. Have been meaning to get them since last March but never get the money.

I thought it wouldn't be this bad since I'd bought a mint one to begin with..all in all pretty reliable but it came to a time when it needed a few bits doing and some bits which I thought, better now than later.

Time to enjoy it for a bit before any more major work gets done, will get it serviced soon again. Already managed 3,500 miles on it, that being in teeny tiny Malta, pretty good I think!

Would be lost without the forum though, sourcing parts and the likes and learning from all the members on here, good to know what's what on our cars, always learn something new.

                    Hopefully no more surprises though

I'd really prefer not to think about it. Apart from the engine, gearbox and diff I've rebuilt the entire car replacing everything required along the way.

Whats the opposite of doing nothing to the car?

Up in the air naked waiting for bits and bobs to fit to it?

We've got a few empty shells at the garage but they're a bunch of korean crap, Hyundais and Kias, they deserve it
