getting the caliper stripped to clean

Well l can't get the stainless cage off to clean behind. The screws that hold it in place will not budge. I have sprayed the loctite freezing spray to try and free the screw off without any luck. Its a torx or star drive head and has limited access. Can anyone recommend a tool for undoing these screws, there are 4 on each caliper

Besy way I've found to get those out is to weld a nut or bolt to the top of them. The combination of heat and a clean new surface to get hold of will always get them out

Tap it hard on the head with a suitable drift/hammer to shock the nut...these are too small to weld onto and access is also fairly limited.

Good info on this since I'll be doing it too in a month!

Sorry for the thread hijack, but does anyone under what Porsche 911 type I should look for my rear RS2 calipers (the smooth later style, not the older type mentioned on etka and so). I also want to replace the plates on the rear with new damper-'mushrooms'. I thought 965 turbo rear?

If the yellow handled keys are what you have been using - they are not up to the job...you need one that sits in a small drive socket, in order to gain decent leverage.
