Tried to track down Ben when I wanted an ellipsoid glass but to no avail
However when I asked my mechanic who owns his own garage (but no account with TPS) he said I could just pay cash at the counter ?
He did give me his business card to give to them if there was a query though.
'If' you have a mechanic friend then you could try this approach
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2
Which AC pipe is it you need mate?
My local parts guys a Stafford Audi are sound. I straight up just asked for a discount and they give me the best discount codes they can - anywhere from 5 - 15%. I also sometimes take them donuts when I want something they're not supposed to do, like sell a workshop tool

Just need to find a helpful parts guy. The guys at Stirling Audi are polite and helpful, dont mind getting silly nuts and bolts, and always offer to print off the diagrams for you. Pete used to be great as he had 80s and 90s Audis/VWs so was always doing anything extra he could to help.
Speak to pat or steve at Shirley audi brum they have been helpful for my coupe bits. I just ask for best discount and they oblige. In fact when i ordered a wing pat said the s2 was a proper car not like all the modern stuff they sell now. Obviously a fan.
Ben told me the day before he left that it was unlikely that anything would change regarding the discounts,I think the other lad I have dealt with there(when Ben was on holiday) was called Rob(I could be wrong).I need to speak to them regarding a part I ordered actually so will call them tomorrow.

they dont actually mind selling the tools , but there is a special email you have to put the request in to
Ben (s2avant) no longer appears to work for TPS and I'm not a fan of dealerships because if your not buying a car they treat you like a c~#t.
Suggestions?
cheers
Wow Really sorry to hear that Ben has left TPS - So Glad he set up my account and discounts before he left. I would be lost with out TPS - but there have been lots of changes as my local one has just been taken over by JCT600 and the service isn't what it was as they keep moving staff around.
I did speak to the manager and ruffled a few feathers and my service has improved.
I can try and order parts for people to help out BUT my discount varies from anything from 0% to 21% - I would have to charge postage and a small packing and handling fee. But if you guys are stuck with full RRP prices, this might help...
