    Mapped by Automark today!

Just been to Marks (Automark) today (tuner of DJones amongst others). My car spec is RS2 EM, 3" downpipe, Miltek exhaust, 044 bosch fuel pump, 440cc injectors, gt3071 turbo, methanol injection, fully rebuilt engine with scat rods.

I have had the car previously mapped by Mark but limited to 1.4 bar boost due to not having rods, meth. injection or 3" downpipe. This time he has upped the boost to 1.9 bar. Big difference as it now pulls very well all the way to the red line. I have a couple of flow restrictions to address, one in the exhaust and one in the MAF to turbo hose and then more can be extracted power wise.

All in all very happy and can highly recommend Mark, he is very professional when it comes to checking the engine and sensors health prior to mapping also he will map by mechanical boost or WGFV contrary to popular belief.

Glad all is running well. That is a similar spec to what I'm building up for my 90. Is the top end stock?

So it was mapped on the road then?

How long did it take. Just wondering as I need mine doing soon. Its a 3 hour drive for me so wondering if I can squeeze it into 1 day.

Yes mapped on the road, some good wide a roads around Marks place. It takes about 3 hours of testing engines health etc and the probably 1 hour on the road mapping so count on 1 full day if any issues arise that need sorting.

Mine too as that spec, apart from my head is ported and flowed, is similar to mine. I bet it's a good 450 at 1.9bar, mine was 480 at 1.75bar. Get them flow restrictions sorted and you will be gone.... Oh what hot side are you running?

Think I'm going to leave mine at its current boost....

                    Yep good man Mark

There on Friday 16th. Similar spec to you except I'm using same turbo as DJones and have ported head matched to manifolds. Looking at pegging mine at 1.7 bar. Looks like I'll have a fun drive home
