As I mentioned on my post with the photos. That car has had lots of modifications and was residing in crete where parts are not very accessible even today. So I'm sure a great deal of parts are not genuine. My remarks are only a transfer of the previous owner who had the paperwork of the car and perhaps knows the car before he did any mods of his own and he quoted that the interior seats where baige as well as the carpet and door cards. The bolsters have been done later on as has the gear lever. But that is as far as my knowledge goes unfortunately. Merely by the fact that Tom posted the above photos before me I probably shouldn't have bothered.
Anyway, apparently there are unique original rs2s out there, with bits on them that weren't mass produced.

that because the RS2 is based on an S2 avant, and RS2 parts were or are available, somebody somewhere has converted an S2 ABY avant to full visual RS2 spec (bumpers, mirrors, headlights, wheels, brakes, steering wheel, intake manifold, turbo, etc), either for personal taste or nefarious** reasons. I'd be the one trying to figure out what I was looking at was real RS2 or a converted S2 avant before I or someone else purchased a vehicle that looked like an RS2.
