You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I'm still using ios6 on my iphone4 but will be moving to ios7 on the 5s tomorrow... I don't like the look of ios7 tbh but the iphone4 is beginning to struggle a bit.
is it just me or does it look a bit childish??? not taken with the flat icons and so far not discovered anything i'd currently been struggling to live without. A lot of fuss for not much it appears.
I'll take droid any day of the week...been trying to love ios and failing miserably. Yet my nexus seems to improve a little with every release. Was on a galaxy S2 with 2.2.3 on it the other week..difference between that and 4.3 is remarkable.
My lad upgraded to iOS7 and sent me a message straight away to stop me from upgrading. It looks like it was designed by someone with crayons was his comment!

Next version we'll probably see some 720/1080p screens and they'll call it Retina Display 2 and market it as some amazing new feature.
Apple are very good at taking old tech and marketing as new and people who aren't tech savy but act like they are (hipsters) think it's the coolest thing and keep apple products rolling out the door.
The marketing is honestly brilliant.
Non HD screens = Retina Display = OMG it has retina display!!111
8MP camera = iSight camera = OMG IT HAS iSIGHT, NEW !!!! with 1.2MP front cam.
Dual core CPU = NEW 64 bit A7 CPU!! = wow it has an A7 it must be amazing. (I honestly don't think any phone uses more than 4GB of ram atm.. 64 bit is a waste, see the ediit, the most is 2GB, 5s still uses 1GB)
For the amount of money you're paying take a look at the what the Samsung Galaxy 4 offers
Screen = Full 1080p screen 5" 441ppi vs iphone 5s with 4" 322ppi
Camera = 13MP autofocus, LED flash & zero shutter lag and 1.9MP front cam.
CPU = Quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 in the U.S. (8-core 1.8GHz Exnyos 5 Octa elsewhere)
Notice Apple don't make claims like "iSight is the worlds most amazing camera in a phone".. It's because the Galaxy has a 13MP vs the 8MP..
We've just had to upgrade our company phones, and so far it's PISH. The display is a total let down. Had to do a Google search and find out how to close apps down. The usual double click on home button and "long hold" on the app and hot the X, no longer exists.
And this security breach within the new software as reported by the Beeb.

One the campest themes imaginable, I went to set my alarm clock on Thursday night and the bright tones seared my eyes! I held out to buy the iPhone 5 last year for almost a year after I lost my HTC and if I'm honest its been pretty poor piece of hardware and possible will replace it with an android of some nature by the end this year

5S only has 1GB of ram, SG4 has 2GB.
They really are extremely good at marketing.
