Have a think about changing the expansion bottle. It takes 10 years off the engine bay for a £30 outlay.
What product/technique did you use for the engine bay clean?
Mine needs doing again.
Cheers
Thanks, yeah i know what you mean about expansion bottle, rusty brown over time.
Products, machine clean all over bay, leave to soak, paint brushes various sizes for scrubbing.
Then spray water for the rinse from garden sprayer, more a fine mist setting so water doesn't penetrate electrics.
And last coat in Aerospace 303, and go for a 15 min spin open bonnet and should look
do you mind to share what size wheels and tires are you runing including ET? I am not happy with mine set up that i have now so I am looking for options.

They are MTM Cup rims rare as hens teeth!!
8.5 x18 5x130 ET 50
You can run up to 245/35 on these or as small as 225/40
Sorry Andy couldn't resist, car looking fine matey
Thanks for the info. Well i have same size wheels but 225´s mounted on, which was installed by previous owner. Tires are almost due for replacement so i think i will go with 245 for next set, cause what i see here in pic, i like a lot.

Hi as mentioned MTM 18's
Tyres, Federal RS-R road legal track tyres 245/35 ZR18 88W.
Have to say I pinched a few ideas from GT, but he pinched his ideas from Dahlbach
This is the Dahlbach one now go and find GT's.
rs2315.
Nothing wrong with taking ideas from Dahlback, I mean they don't really get any better for the Rs2, wheels, splitter, air intakes
Gt said you were selling, defender bound??
Looks good. Do you have some photos of your wheels ?
As you're looking for feedback, if your brake fluid hasn't been changed in the last 18 months, it would be worth changing. looks a little dark in the photo.
As I have found this out on four seperate cars over the years, when you bleed the hydraulic line from the brake fluid reservoir to the clutch slave cylinger on the gearbox, I would be very surprised if your clutch pedal does not feel much better.
It is often forgotten about when bleeding the brakes, and while it is hard to reach and do on a B4 ( R ) S2, it is well worth the effort.
A couple of times I thought that cars new to me had a clutch that might be past it's best, and the fluid change brought it back to 'life'. Much better than changing a clutch that was still OK.

Yeah I've got the 110 which I've had a year.
I needed something that could carry heavy weight, but also double as a family bus.
Handling is a bit compared to the RS2, but then a 110 is always going to be a plodder.
RS2 is still with me, the plan is to advertise for sale next spring.
This forum will be the first to get all the stats, but I think I'll be pushing more for a sale in Germany, Scandanavia with it been LHD.
A big part of me doesn't want to sell it, but as mentioned it's not getting used.
