hmmm who knows, It dont have one atm, im starting a project, will see how far I get. Over time it could I guess....

Perhaps getting an s2 will be the handy part and while im working on the s2 --- A second engine could be built along side, -- the race engine it could be called -- then when its ready it goes into the s2.


then this way I guess I could spend time with the s2 and tweek its handle and performance without the huge power. Its going to kind of look similar to TerryBullwon's S2, You see I had this idea - quite a while ago, though not so extreme, (keeping the interior and keeping it practical.

I have a vw golf GTI (its turbo diesel) 150bhp as my run around, even this is surprising. -- so thats my practical car. Now the S2 project. Where I can spend time working for once. (Friend is starting to construct a workshop as part of his work).

So yes this is going to be no holds barred and I wont be affraid to completely modify the car. (with doing the right research behind it first).

Not to be blunt, but Error has been around for a while, listen to what he's telling you.

Buy a v6 Quattro saloon, and put an I5 into it.

Your ambition is admirable, but may be too ambitious if you're already mentioning lack of time and money, and don't already know the reasons why a B4 saloon bodyshell is the best choice for what you have in mind - just sayin......

A Quattro saloon, with a built engine, with a spec of equipment to match a 400bhp output is a worthwhile stage to reach, and then rest and enjoy while you plan what you need to reach your stage two, assuming you still have the desire, money, and time.

Don't want to rain on your parade, but you need to fully appreciate what your stated spec will cost you a lot of time, money, and effort.

The projects section, and the For Sale sections are littered with people's shattered dreams, because of the trials of life catches up with their ambitions. Do read the projects threads to see how others have gotten on with their dreams.

Work out exactly what you want to achieve, then plan how you will achieve it. Have a plan and stick to it

Plan a is to get a nice s2 base. Plan b work on body brakes and handling. Stripping it out. Making lighter. Race seats etc..... its an on going project. Maybe i might be happy with 400hp and an insane handling lightweight s2. Will think more about the route. Thx
