Ship the heavy parts from Germany to UK?anyone?

I'm thinking to ship the gearbox from Gemünden,Germany to UK.
What's the cheapest way to get them shipped?These gearbox will
be shipped out from UK to Thailand over again.This's sound PITA.
That's why i need the cheapest transportation within Europe.The
reason i need to ship the gearbox from Germany to UK since the shipper
is located in UK.He said he can pick up the Gearbox but i guess the cost is
fortune.

Another easier way is if anyone has the 01E 6gang Gearbox with wide first
gear wants to let them go and located near/in UK.please let me know.
I need to import the parts from the rest of the world to keep my car survived
from being scrapped.I believe you don't wanna see this car being sold as scrapped
finally.

I'd ask Will20v at VRS if he has a gearbox as he can sort shipping as well

spink helps me get things from Germany to the UK and then to the USA.

my fiberglass doors, Germans wanted $1400 EURO to ship to me. it was $80 EURO to ship to UK and $140 GBP to forward on to the USA.

they werent heavy, just large box.

he can help and gets a great shipping rate as well.

when he shipped an RS2 01E trans to me it was $150 GBP from UK to USA. and he never had to deal with it, he had it picked up from the seller, he just arranges the shipment.

No, I cant have something sent from one country to another sadly, it must come to uk first then be relayed on from here which in that case would end up costing big $$$

And as with everything else in the last year or two the prices have risen a fair bit
