help with mechatron part number for sirocco

Hello any one have access to online etka to give me the right part number for mechatron of vw sirroco , here is the vin number of the car , any help would be appreciated. here is the vin WVWZZZ13ZAV413128

I might have a friend who can help but I have no idea what a "mechatron" is. Enlighten me (please).

And what year is the car? Looks like 1997 which is after the Mark II Scirrocos ended production.

That would make some sense. The "A" in WVWZZZ13ZAV413128 = 2010 model year. I was at the Paris Auto Salon in Sept. 2010 and I think that the new Scirroco was just out.

sorry for late delay , its another car last one was golf 5 gti and its donne but this one is sirroco 2010 , dsg mechatron is problematic , mechatron is like the valve body of automatic car but the ecu is built on it

last one is fixed, i got the mechatron from ecs tuning and fit it but found out that the dsg syncronizing hubs was damaged and took time to get it fixed but on the end its donne

yep its the modern one 2010 , i dont know if it cames to us markets but we have them here in lebanon

I thought vw did a 10 year 100k warranty on dsg box. Cant you throw it back at them?

no we cant , and they will charge for it 4500$ or 3300$ if u buy it and fit by yourself , we have the most bad and thief vw and audi dealer.

OK, here's all the info for a 2010 Scirocco. I parsed this from an up-to-date version of the Elektronische TeileKAtalog. You can figure it out once you get your engine and gearbox codes.

You should be able to see the current part number of the mechatronic with your favorite diagnostic software by logging into the controller. hint, hint.

This is the second one now. What are you guys doing to these poor things over there? Let me know if you need any more help.

they just fail often do to hot atmospher i think bord circuit got overheated and guides to trouble , some times it doesnt shift properly and it ends up with damaged syncronizing hubs which is not available from audi as a replacment part only complete gearbox
