Had a slight problem last weekend with the S2 that all of a sudden the central locking stopped working when I pressed the button from my alarm fob? I thought ok probably be the central locking pump?? So goes to start it today and the car is completely dead no life in the old dog at all? Now I know the 2 are linked but what could cause the battery so die like that and what's drained it? Thanks in advance chaps
Had similar issues with my cobra alarm on my s2 , I've completely removed it now and will get a modern one fitted, as it was draining my battery and central locking was a bit suspect ... 20 odd years old after all.. Guess alarms have moved on since then .. ,!
yeah mine was fitted 13 years ago so that's probably an issue but am wondering why the central locking has stopped working
I removed my old scorpion alarm and my central locking went crazy until I located the alarms central locking relay box and return the wiring to normal.
So if your alarm is giving you bother it could stop the central locking working too.
