Any ideas on possible car storage pls

    Hi all

I have been lucky the last few years being able to keep my car in a safe garage but my situation has changed a little recently and until I find a new place to live with a suitable garage, I will be in the annoying position of having nowhere to keep the S2. It is just not poss to keep it on the road where I live as it will be nicked, keyed, torched or god knows what. It would be safer in Brixton if you get the gist.

Anyone know of anywhere local to Banbury that could store a car securely and in the dry for maybe 6-12months. It is ok for a coupla months more but in time, I will need a plan and looking online has not found any decent solutions thus far. I am trying to find a way to keep it but might have to consider selling if I cannot find a decent solution.

Annoyingly a few months back a flyer came through the door offering local garages for £8p/w but I didnt need it then and they no longer have anything available.

Any thought or advice gratefully received.

Unrelated, but afar looking at the just 'cleaned it' thread, looks very nice, nice colour, but consider putting late model Coupe rear tail lights on it ?

Hope you find a place for storage. Feels horrible when, where you park it you feel worried about it.

Hopefully I will sort something out. Just got back from babysitting the nephew and my brother in law (farmer with lots of space) said I could leave it at his place if need be. It would be outside but I would get a decent cover for it. Might be a compromise and it would be free rent but possibly would be booked for more babysitting so every silver lining has a cloud.

Not fussed about making it look any different to be honest. I would be more inclined to buy even more power and spend what was left over on super unleaded.

Gumtree, usually turns up some nice ones, i.e peoples houses etc!!

£10-£20 week depending on location but explain the reasons and your not a commuter and they will be more lenient etc.

what about a storage container, loads of these places popping up

All good ideas guys thanks. My brother in laws brother (also a farmer) was considering getting an old shipping container to store a marquee in. I am hoping there might be space in it.

Failing that, car under a cover or maybe Steves workshop unit would work well. I would prefer to have regular access to it for driving at weekends but if need be, I might be convinced to lay it up for a few months until I get my own place sorted again. All things to consider but many thanks for the input.
