Newsh, not 2.5bar but 3.5bar.

That's 4.5bar absolute.

We tried 4 bar (5 bar absolute) with Paavola in Pärnu last year, but the clutch failed, so we dropped the boost to 3.8 (4.8 absolute) and made the 8.4/275 run.

One must not be shy with the boost screw when it comes to drag racing.

Most power by far now is Jens Eklund / Eklund Racing with 1547whp on the rears. That is with only 8700rpm and over 4bar of boost. they can rev to 10500rpm as they have tried and more is coming. Looks like they are soon approaching 2000hp from the Audi 5-cyl 20vt.
