Use a different broweser. Chrome, Firefox, anything but IE which is basically flawed in so many ways.

Ha ha, there are insurmountable problems with how data is read by IE. I have not found a way round it. Main stream websites seem to cope better with it but I have found it hangs many other sites like the S2 forum for example.

Chrome is pretty good. Once you are used to it, it is powerful, intelligent but basic and more importantly never fails.

Chrome is much better than Internet Exploder.

I also see the specific issue mentioned on iOS browser (Safari essentially) - if you visit another forum page then pop back to the thread you need the "post tools" function to operate then it works - bit annoying but it's one of those bugs. I defer to Sonic skills on this kind of thing.

I was Pro IE for years and in theory, it is a fine browser with better fine tuning than others but and it is a BIG BUT, it does have its problems. After I had been using Chrome for 2 months, I was a convert. I would never go back. Chrome is much much much better. You wont regret it

Burn all people using IE11 , what an utter piece of cr@p software. To say it's made my life hell with our company product that has browser integration is an understatement.

Do my workaround meantime - I get it on Safari too - the issue is probably with vBulletin not browser. We are overdue an upgrade. Where are those lazy IT boys when you need them anyway - lol. Sonic may just turn off the server and turn it back on again and it will all be fine ;-)

IE is poor in many ways and has been for years... Chrome or FireFox are the best alternatives in terms of features and speed.

Unfortunately again Microsoft have missed the point even with IE11... they've added lots of nice new features but in reality this only means they're catching up with the competition rather than doing something revolutionary, and they're still behind regardless.

With IE11 they've also made quite a lot of historical stuff (the forum included) incompatible whereas Chrome and FF have managed to add the features and not break "the internet". The fix for this is to put the site into compatibility mode to make it render as it did previously in IE, or just get a proper browser
