    Audi 90 Quattro Sport Value

    Hello,

What would you think a 1985/6 Audio 90 Quattro Sport would be worth in a barn find condition? its a runner but has literally just been kept in a shed for the past 15 odd years, and i should imagine it would need a couple of days fettling and some new parts to get it MOT worthy.

The reason i ask is i am in the process of trying to purchase said car, but dont really know what sort of offer would be reasonable for it...

I had about £600 in my head, but i know they are becoming a bit collectable now!

    Cheers,

    Tom.

Depends on how complete it is and how much rot there is, especially on the A pillars and other hidden areas. Mechanical parts are easy to come by but pretty much all the trim is NLA, so if you're looking to anything with it, then make sure it's all there!

It's worth a few hundred with no tax, MOT and in a bit of a mess, up to say £3k for a really nice one.

I never realised they made a B2 90 quattro sport, just the 90 CD and 90 quattro.
As said above, these cars do suffer from rust, value will depend on body condition more than running gear condition.
£600 for a car that's not been MOT'ed for 15 years is quite a bit of money.

Ok perhaps I may have got a little bit excited with that statement, i just assumed this quattro was in sport trim because of the front splitter.

Cheers for the info, hopefully i'll be able to lay my hands on it for a reasonable sum.

The end goal is to 3b/aby it depending on how much of a ball ache it is to do this.

The guy is quite attached to it so it might not be worth it, but we'll see!

Will update this if i am successful.

            Cheers
