new key b4

hello!

there is the possibility of setting up a new key for my 80 b4?

I have 2 standard keys without buttons.

my b4 came with the alarm receiver in the b colunm. I believe the first owner must have lost the key with the buttons.

i have a new oem key with 2 buttons. virgin.

what it takes to make the alarm function buttons for the new key? the new key did not come with a circuit / plate. only the blade.

B4 factory remote uses infrared connection. OEM flipblade and aftermarket ones uses radio connection so it's impossible to match them. Infrared key looks like the third from left:

ok. Now I understood.

but even though I have nothing inside that new key?

I mean, there is the possibility of placing an infrared plate?

and also, even with an infrared plate I would have to know what the signal / frequency, the car has.....

the only way would be to install an aftermarket alarm?!?!
